NSSF Blog Targets Inaccuracies Surrounding Firearms
The National Shooting Sports Foundation has launched a blog aimed at hunting down and correcting inaccuracies about firearms and the firearms industry. The blog, titled "Aiming for Accuracy," is updated regularly with news, links and other helpful resources designed to promote accurate communications about firearms issues in the media, among bloggers and with all firearms enthusiasts.

Industry Recognizes 10th Anniversary of NICS
NSSF and its National Association of Firearms Retailers (NAFR) division recognized the 10-year anniversary of the FBI National Instant Criminal Check System (NICS). The NICS system went into effect on Nov. 30, 1998, with the support of the firearms industry, and is designed to screen out those persons who are prohibited by law from purchasing firearms.
